Requirements:
A National Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management and / or HR

Development or a relevant equivalent qualification with (HRM or HRD at 3rd year level) and relevant HR experience. PLUS the following key competencies Knowledge of - EPMDS and Chapter 4 of the SMS handbook - Public Service Act and Public Service Regulation - Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) - DPSA Circulars - Employment Equity Act - Human Resource Planning Strategic Framework Vision 2015. Skills - Minutes taking skills - Presentation Skills - Communication Skills (Excel/Power Point and Persal) - Negotiation Skills - Interpretation Skills - Problem Solving Skills Communication - Verbal and written Communication - Proficiency in at least two official languages (one being English). Creativity - Open-minded - Innovative - Good Listener - Ability to work as a team - Ability to work under pressure and after hours - Technical analysis

Recommendation/Note: Major subject(s) required: HR Management or HR Development 3rd year passed Appropriate experience needed (number of years of experience required) 3-5 years PMDS and other HR related experience will be an advantage Persal introduction Certificate

Duties:
Administer the Performance Management and Development System and utilise Persal for the capturing thereof - Co-ordinate the Local Moderating Committee meetings and provide a secretariat function. - Compile statistics of percentages awarded to employees - Assist employees with the drafting of performance agreements / workplans - conduct workshops on PMDS - Administer and support the implementation of the HR Plan - Administer the support the implementation of the Employment Equity Plan - .Administer the Probation Programme - Provide information and advice
