Secretary to the Director: Legal Administration (Reference NC/30/13)

Salary: R115 212 - R135 714 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.

Requirements:
Grade 12 with typing as subject or Secretarial Certificate or any other training/qualification; in office administration that will enable the person to perform the work satisfactory; Administrative/secretarial experience; Willing to work irregular hours; Short listed candidates will be required to pass a typing test; A valid code 08 driver’s licence will be an added advantage. Skills and competencies: Computer literacy (MS Office); Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); Good and courteous telephone & interpersonal skills; Good public relations skills; Good organizational skills; Ability to work under pressure and independently; Hardworking; Efficient and resourceful; Excellent typing skills.

Duties:
Key Performance Areas: Manage the diary of the Director; Type correspondence such as reports, submissions and letters; Coordinate and convene meetings, workshops/conferences and perform administrative tasks associated with such meetings, workshops and conferences; Order stationary, equipment and manage stock thereof; Maintain a proper filing system to file and receive documents; Keep electronic and manual record of documents/memoranda received and dispatched; Operate standard office equipment; Make official traveling arrangements for the Director; Compile and submit S&T claims of the Director.
