Requirements:
An appropriate 3-year recognised tertiary qualification in Information Systems and/or Information Science and/or Computer Science or related field. Appropriate experience in and knowledge of Information Technology which includes: Systems Application Support, Helpdesk Management Reporting, Information Management and Project Management. Demonstrate considerable working knowledge and understanding of Project Management Systems and associated technology, hardware and software. Project management methodology and ability to apply its principles and practices to determine, analyse, evaluate, integrate, and implement effective and practical solutions timely .Ability to interpret and communicate information and ideas clearly and accurately. Expert level of computer competency is essential. A proven track record of systems support, training, report development and production together with database administration will be an added advantage. Sound leadership, interpersonal, management, strategic, analytical, conceptual, problem-solving and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). Experience in middle management, human resources and financial management. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines. A valid Code B driver’s licence, as it will be required of him / her to travel.
Duties:
Manage the operation of Programme Management System’s Help Desk; Manage the provision of support and training to internal and external system users; Develop and extract standard, management and special reports for the Chief Directorate; Manage system databases; Identify and Compile proposed system improvements for the client.
