Salary: R495 603 - R691 878 all inclusive salary package per annum (Salary level 11)
Requirements:
An appropriate 3 year qualification plus 5 years experience OR Grade 12 plus 10 years experience in the various disciplines related to human resource management. Should have at least 5 years supervisory experience. Knowledge and experience in organisational design and development will serve as an added advantage. The following key competencies are essential: Knowledge of Recruitment and Selection, HR Administration and Practices, understanding of HRM legislative framework and prescripts and Employment Equity Systems. Proven applied knowledge of HR policy development and maintenance in terms of relevant legislative framework. Knowledge and experience on the Equate Job Evaluation system and training as a JE analyst would serve as an advantage. Working knowledge of PERSAL is essential. Good communication and report writing skills. High level of computer literacy and sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications. Ability to work under pressure.
Duties:
Responsible for the effective management of the Sub-Directorate and will be responsible for: Development of human resource policies and strategies; Ensure the alignment of organizational structures to the strategic plan; Render efficient and effective human resource administration services; Development and management of attraction, retention and exit programmes; Coordinate human resource information and knowledge using PERSAL / VULINDLELA; Manage organizational design and Job Evaluation services; Manage the administration of conditions of service, remuneration and personnel information system; Monitor, evaluate and report on all HRM interventions which entail compliance with HR prescripts satisfying audit requirements. Responsible for the HR Oversight report; Develop, implement and monitor the HR Plan. Maintain and manage HR records / HR registry according to prescripts. Management of staff.
