Thanks Obama

This post is slightly NSFW

Since the last mid-term election, everyone has noticed that Obama is just a bit more himself, a bit more dynamic, and a bit more willing to make decisions that would have been politically risky. Most obvious example is the decision to have diplomatic relations with Cuba and reduce the sanctions.

I raise this right now as I have Obama 2014-present to thank for a phrase that may have existed before but has come to be most useful of late:

Yep, my wife said last night that she had zero fucks to give, and I could not help but think that the President might have had something to do with the way she articulated that feeling.

So, thanks Obama!

Friend Connect integration issues:

Currently the Friend Connect settings page will display in the same language as the blog hosting it. We are working on a fix to have this page reflect your default Blogger.com language.

Following a blog with the 'Add from URL' feature in your dashboard currently doesn't work with the eight Indic languages. We should have this resolved shortly once we get the proper translations, however you can still follow a blog directly if the gadget is enabled.

Some users with a rectangular Blogger profile image may notice size distortions in Friend Connect. We are working on a fix.

Following doesn't currently work if you have an iGoogle gadget in your layout. We're working on a fix, but in the meantime you can remove any iGoogle gadgets from the Layouts | Page Elements tab.
