We've been getting a steady stream of videos featuring Kilian Jornet recently, all of which have been outstanding. This one is fantastic as well, taking us once again to Norway where we join the Spanish mountain runner on a night training session with the Aurora Borealis gleaming overhead.

Video: On the Edge of Light in Iceland
This beautiful video takes us to Iceland, but rather than showing us what the landscapes look like there during the day – something we've seen a thousand times – it gives us a glimpse of them after dark. Illuminated by the moon, the stars, and the Northern Lights, those landscapes take on a different feel altogether. It is quite a sight to be behold.

Video: The Aurora and the Whales - 3 Days in Tromsø, Norway
This stunning video was shot over three days in the village of Tromsø, Norway and it features two of the things that most people visit that place to see – the Northern Lights and the Whales. At nearly a half-hour in length, it is a bit on the long side, but the images that you'll see are simply beautiful. You'll catch a glimpse of large pods of whales as they pass through the waters during the day, and the enchanting Norwegian sky set aglow by the aurora borealis at night. If you have time, watch it from beginning to end, enjoying the music that was selected as the soundtrack. If it's a bit too much to take in one sitting, at least sample some of the footage. It is definitely worth a look.

That's exactly what pilot Horatio Llorens did when he traveled to Trømso, Norway recently, and his experience is captured in the video below. As you can imagine, it was quite a flight.

Video: Night Of The Northern Lights
Back in February the Earth was subjected to some of the best displays of the Aurora Borealis, aka the Northern Lights, that have been seen in decades. Extreme northern locals across the globe were treated to a spectacular light show, including parts of Scotland. The video below was shot on February 27, just a few days after one of the biggest solar flares ever detected. For those of us who didn't get a chance to see this amazing natural display for ourselves, the clip gives a sense of what it was like, in a beautiful timelapse no less.

Video: Aurora Borealis Timelapse
There is no doubt that the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, is one of the most awe inspiring sights that you could ever hope to see. They are the result of charged particles from the solar winds striking the Earth's magnetic field in the upper atmosphere resulting in a light show that is unlike anything else found in nature. The video below was shot in Iceland and features some striking images of this phenomenon. It seems that the Northern Lights were specifically made for timelapse photography as well because they are breathtaking here. Enjoy!
