As a result of a joint narcotics investigation conducted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force - Olean Office, New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) and the Angelica Police Department, Randy Frank, 46 of Angelica, was arrested on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment Warrant by Angelica police. According to a State Police press release, Frank was charged with one count each of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree. Frank was processed and committed to Allegany County Jail ($5,000 cash bail) to await further court proceedings. The arrest was the result of a lengthy investigation into the alleged illegal sales of prescription pills in the Village of Angelica.
