Investrust Bank Plc, a growing indigenous commercial bank listed on the Lusaka Stock Exchange, is looking for qualified, self-motivated, hard working and enthusiastic individuals to fill the following positions that have fallen vacant.
Job Title: Manager – Technical Operations Support
Location: Head Office
Reporting to: Head ICT
Job Purpose:
To ensure the Banks infrastructure and security systems are up and running to support the day today operations of the bank. In addition to manage the implementation of ICT projects and the operations of
the ICT Helpdesk.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Plan, design, and install the banks’ infrastructure and IT security systems in accordance to best practices
  2. Ensure the Bank’s infrastructure and security systems are operational at all times and that all IT faults/ incidents are resolved within the agreed SLAS
  3. Create and maintain infrastructure, IT service delivery and  IT security standards, policies and procedures
  4. Coordinate all ICT projects (in liaison with other project  managers)
  5. Manage and maintain the disaster recovery site in line with best practise and ensuring that
  6. Disaster Recovery Plans are tested and DRP document updated
  7. Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely/effective provision of t&’hnical support
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Information Systems
  2. At least 7 years post qualifying experience in the ICT field of which 3 years must be at management level.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • In depth knowledge of server operating systems especially Windows platform, Microsoft Exchange Server, Firewalls, Anti-virus and LAN/ W AN technologies
  • Experience in ICT Service delivery and project management will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to think logically
