"ubiety, It's Time To Go..." - One Who Knows - 5.18.17
I cannot judge. I have expressed human frailty of character like we all have.
This OWK's entry begs for light work:
It references a blatant cabal movie clip gif showing the "way to behave" toward those who offend a person. I will not go into this further here except to say that it is not a charitable approach.
I'm certain, by the negative votes this post has received (even without the voting system, which I must say is an interesting add-on), that I'm not alone in walking away with a "something-is-not-quite-nice-about-this-post" feeling after reading it. Those negative votes are not all from cabal wanting to keep their "right" to post.. Lol.
It has caused me to ask myself, "Is this some kind of double-dog-dare for me to 'say' something and this really is not OWK's attitude on this subject? Is this some sort of 'egging-on' of the light workers as to their willingness to speak their piece on such matters?"
Anyway! While I empathize with the frustration all around, a simple, "I really would like to insist that ubiety is not contributing to the community properly. I vote he be removed from the island" would suffice. It would also be desirable to add, "I'd like to send off our dear ubiety with love from the site as he is causing too much disruption. Dear ubiety.. Good bye". Not "buh bye", but "GOOD bye".
Why not assume that ubiety has been doing his best to play his version of devil's advocate in what ever fashion that may be. Are we all not here to learn from each other?
I'm not saying that ubiety should have comments posted. I don't read many posts, sometimes a sentence or two to catch a flavor before reading. That is my prerogative and so ubiety doesn't bother me though I do understand there are those who may be subject to "poisonous attitudes" shall we say? It seems I am somewhat immune or I am, at least partially, in a good habit of "not feeding" something I dislike.
I do feel for Patrick posting like there is no tomorrow keeping up with everyone's need (?) to express themselves. I totally respect Patrick's decisions to post or not to post (though I do hope he posts this.. Lol.)
Anyway, I just wanted to say that if someone is slated to get the ax, perhaps it is best done with a light touch. Yes, pun intended.
Tess
