What we are waiting for is the Confirmation and Swearing in of Mnuchin and Jeff Sessions.
Once US Treasury signs off and the Attorney General Rubber stamps it, we are ready to go.

There is, unfortunately, a last ditch effort by the Democrats to delay or block these new appointments. In a Republican controlled House and Senate, these appointees will be installed when the Republicans rubber stamp them without delay.
When Sessions is sworn in, it will mark the beginning the process of draining the swamp. It is reported that of the 545 Senators and Congressmen, only something like 71 are constitutionally eligible to serve. Trump may or may not stay on all four years but he is the one initiating these actions.
