RayRen: Good afternoon, super-fantastic TNT family! Today is Marvelous Monday, January 23, 2017, yours truly RayRen98 at the controls. I don’t think we need to recap what was already shared over the weekend. We are getting blow-by-blow updates about Mosul; we understand that eastern Mosul has celebrations, with northern Mosul tagged to be completed by yesterday. There was a large offensive in western Mosul, too. The updates say that Mosul is already celebrating, although the northern and western areas are not completely liberated.
From today’s activities, it looks like Rafi Bank is enticing citizens to come in and get their smart cards activated. On Iraqi television, they are telling citizens that any minute now they will have Mosul completely liberated. The Kurds are wanting independence, to be separate but equal. These events may have an impact on what we’re waiting for.
There are now 27 banks actively dealing in dinar, for those who say this is a scam. We can go and exchange when we want to – that privilege is now here, and we are exercising strategy, to go in when we want to. We don’t want to exchange until a certain time, but at least we can sell dinar without much of a loss.
You already know about the Iraqi embassies being notified for a currency value change, we just don’t know when. We should be in the midst of that taking place, as well as the updates I sent out, that this is supposedly on the desks of those concerned. We haven’t heard anything from our banking sources, but it may be trickling down through the banking system. This could very well be The Week, although certain things still need to be made public. But it’s looking good, sounding good, and I’m feeling good about where we are. To have 27 banks engaged – that is a good feeling. We are getting there.

A: If you can find a bank to deposit your dinar (or other currencies) AS dinar, then you can leave it in that dinar-based account until you are ready to exchange it as dinar. However, all US banks require you to exchange into US dollars, so you would have to go offshore or overseas to do this.
Q2: Do you deposit it in a multi-currency type account for its present value and do you deposit it before or after the RV? Can you do this with the dong as well, if you want to see if the market pushes it up more in value? If you deposit more than one currency, should each have its own account?

A: You don’t deposit it into a MCA because US banks won’t allow you to without exchanging it into US dollars, and then have those dollars directed towards other currencies. You can digitize dinar or dong or any other currencies IF you can find a bank that will accept it as those currencies, not dollars. I would have separate accounts for different currencies, as that doesn’t cost anything more, and it might be useful down the road.

A: I don’t know why you are wondering; I still intend to exchange mine, and don’t know of anything saying I cannot.

A: I would assume all Zim notes will be exchangeable, but I don’t know about that denomination for sure. I haven’t heard anything new on Zim.

A: If you did your homework assignment, you already know which banks in your area deal in foreign currency. All you have to do is to call the banks on your list, and ask if they accept dinar. As I have said several times, I’m not going to publish which banks are now dealing in dinar. That list will be revealed when the 800 numbers come out; then we’ll give you all the info.

A: I believe everything has been done, it is just a timing issue.

A: I have not heard of any exchanges, if any took place.

A: I guess it can’t hurt, if you want documented proof of what you have. You can photocopy or take pictures on your phone.
