I love the very human desire to accomplish something without work. We've all given that a shot. My friend spoke to her sister about working to have your life clean, clear and karma-less. The sister said she'd stick with her organized religion because she is forgiven. She said, "What you're talking about sounds so hard!" Uh, well, is your life clear next week because you did the work, or did the Gods in the sky have to come fix it for you again?
The New Age look is just as hard to understand: "Let's all agree to meditate and visualize the RV happening this Thursday!" That sounds like, "Let's pray it in!" Then someone mentions The Secret.
I wanted to write a book, "The Secret is only Half the Secret". If you watch The Secret video, all of those individuals have spent 30 years coming into alignment with Spirit (a.k.a. The Tao, The Flow or the Universe).
There is a Divine order, a Divine Intelligence to the mechanism of all the lower (dual) worlds. The fun idea that an individual or a group (Hey! Come along with me; let's gang up on it!) can manifest an event or can make another individual take any action by "convincing it/them" by force of will is hilarious. It doesn't work like that.
ALL YOU CAN CHANGE IS YOUR OWN CHARACTER, YOUR ACTIONS AND YOUR ATTITUDE.
But what *does* work is to get beyond the mental and begin to come into alignment with the truly holy, the non-dual. When you allow yourself to become more aligned with Spirit, The Divine works through you. Give that a try.
Or, go ahead and try it another way first. Maybe try doing it without having to put forth any effort, without having to change you. In fact, post a note here, asking everyone to make the RV "manifest" by wishing it. Yep, that'll work!
