A group of anarchists promoted on Friday, October 16, a concentration outside the embassy
of Turkey in Kiev, in solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attack in Ankara.
During the protest, the group exhibited posters and shouted slogans against the Turkish
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his government, and against the Islamic State (EI),
"Erdogan killer", "the murderous state." Despite strong police apparatus in place, there
were no major incidents or arrests. ---- Recalling ---- On 10 October, at least 100 people
died and hundreds were injured in two simultaneous explosions outside the central train
station in Ankara, the Turkish capital, the deadliest terrorist attack in history. The
explosions happened at the beginning of a manifestation called "Peace, Work and
Democracy", called by trade unions and civil society groups. To date, no group claimed
responsibility for the explosions.
