The political debate in this second decade of the century has become more complex within
the libertarian world, and in general, the same has happened with all the left of Latin
America. The and libertarians have had to think about politics, or at least, those groups
that do not want to be isolated from history, or the task of contributing to the
development of labor and popular movement, and acting under the specific conditions this
we imposed and not in an ideal context. In this regard the problem of the "elections", the
"reforms" and the role of "state institutions" are issues that are still pending and which
must bear collectively, clearly, without mincing or ambiguities. ---- At present, it is
not enough to solve the election problem retreating only in the classical anarchist
abstention of the twentieth century, without thoroughly considering the limitations and
potential of this tactic, the degree of accumulation of forces classist and combative
sectors and the of our enemies, allies and other groups with an impact on the class
struggle, in addition to not ignore the timely context and political conditions presented
by the period; all elements that we must consider, that in exceptional moments in history,
evaluate whether it is appropriate or not critically involved in these processes. What we
must never forget, is that the essential and strategic should always be building base,
place where social force capable of pressuring the state machinery to win victories for
working people is built, and which spring from bottom up organs of power in times of open
confrontation can build an embryonic self class.
The problem of reform can not be limited to a review of stageist or reformist conception;
he sees the reform as an end in itself, or he thinks is necessary to traverse a series of
historical stages previously defined for building socialism. We have a deeper proactive,
tactical and strategic perspective on reforms, and the role that popular revolutionary
movement must play in its implementation, since it is clear that in Chile later that
morning will be brought forward changes, more cosmetic than structural, but being
discussed at the highest levels and the whole society, because each and all of us, we have
massively took the streets since 2011. Of the various forces that give life to labor and
popular movement, depends on these changes are carried as far forward as possible, it is
urgent therefore define the right way to achieve this goal.
Finally, a fundamental building our libertarian tendency question is seriously debate
around the issue of institutional and state, critically analyzing whether or always has
been, is and will be an obstacle, or if possible in certain times and point processes is
able to pave the way for better conditions for the development of the struggle, not
without limits and contradictions, which must try to circumvent the labor and popular
movement relatively autonomously, relying on its own forces Can we deny the visible

rule out in advance the Kurdish project in the Middle East and what they call
"Confederalism Democratic"? Clearly, a libertarian tendency inserted in reality can not
sin of blindness or ideological purity, with important experiences that are unfolding
before our eyes in different parts of the world. However, it is not correct "tracing"
uncritically foreign experiences, attempting by force to make fit realities that we do not
share and that we are outsiders, and incidentally, throw away what is built with so much
effort. Hence the constant need for criticism, self-criticism and the development of a
living theory, thus, "think for ourselves."
From Crisis to define our political project
2013 marked a before and after, for the libertarian project in Chile. The context of the
presidential elections, meant the commitment of a large group of comrades for the thesis
"democratic breakdown" and party debugging, which parted ways between at least two trends.
The sector that publicly raised the electoral position, has a clear strategy with regard
to reforms (its policy of alliances aimed in that direction), the role that must meet
state and existing institutions in this process, as well as construction of Popular Power.
This trend uses common sense as speech propaganda, is more concerned with political
election results and inserting in spaces of representation, which in everyday work base.
This group, apparently the majority, are consolidated and coordinated at the national
level, although their excessive pragmatism, and the way they operate organically, has
continued to attract the most diverse controversies, confrontations, and breaks in the
fronts and social spaces .
But on the other hand, those who do not support the theses of programmatic orientation or
their "style of construction" we are not yet able to seriously package it, or agree on the
urgent issues, minimum level necessary to become the alternative, the reluctant
libertarians and by "instinct" neoliberal statism and post gradualism need. It is
imperative to overcome the paralyzing and immobile (but, eye, not principles)
"principismo" true "dogmatism" and follower attitude, provide us with a north to act with
a clear perspective and efficiently as possible in daily militancy .
Despite our current inability, everything is so negative. We are in a much better context,
today there are subjective conditions to give arguments that 10 years ago were
unthinkable, we quantitatively grown enough, there is greater accumulation of experience
in the social, political, and even in the development and theoretical deepening of our
ideas. Not starting from scratch and we are not alone in this task: the same problems have
been repeated in the various aspects of the left revolutionary intent and many groups are
in the same search as us.
Today, if we do our best and we can advance the unification of militancy nationwide based
on our own thesis, a speech, and a common organization that strengthens us to social,
programmatic, moral level, and identity . Therefore, colleagues and partners, the call is
to stimulate thought and action, resuming the fraternal discussion, face to face,
reaffirming trusts and joint work in construction fronts and social struggle: only
together, we can advance the building a true libertarian political project, where, working
people and oppressed wide range of our land have a major role to play.
