We had a fun few shakedown days with our good friends from the Tampa, FL based
Combat Wounded Veterans Challenge group. Instructors
Josh Hoeschen and Karina Amortegui worked with them on gear checks, lunch packing and classes yesterday. This morning the group flew to the Pika Glacier for a 6 day Mountaineering Course. They were all smiles as they loaded into the van for the drive to the airport. The group is eager to learn and excited to get into the Alaska Range.
We are happy to have this great group back with us again this year!
