Katie Mackey drops huge personal best in 5000m at Payton Jordan Cardinal Invite...

PALO ALTO, California--University of Washington alum Katie Mackey (left/photo by Paul Merca) of the Seattle-based Brooks Beasts made a major dent in her personal best in finishing third in the 5000 meter run  at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational Sunday night.



Mackey ran 15:04.74 to obliterate her personal best of 15:23.65, set at this same meet last year, finishing behind Sifan Hassan
