We relay the call for a united demonstration against evictions accommodation in
Seine-Saint-Denis. The group CGA Paris region will be present at the event, including
making visible the situation of fighting for collective papers and housing for tou-te-s in
and alongside whom he fought and still fights ( 50 rue Peri, CSA Atti?k?). ---- Though the
unit call (temporary?) does not suit us perfectly, it seems necessary to promote the unity
of the social movement against "social" donors (sic) and the owners, whose the first in
France, it must be remembered, the state. ---- For decent housing for tou-te-s, we must
move toward direct management and socialization of housing, the abolition of private
property and State! ---- 93: evictions enough! - event saturday, may 24, 14h
Porte de la villette - paris
The 93 holds the sad record of evictions in France (1400 in 2010 to clarify ...) This is a
third eviction forcibly executed in Ile de France. 4 out of 10 judgments result in
expulsion forcibly, against 1 of 10 on all of France ...
This means that the social crisis and the housing crisis are even more severe.
Yet rather than help, the Prefect GALLI intensifies evictions without mercy. They
showered mass, leaving people on the sidewalk, despite the law that obliges the Prefect to
put in place a home for every homeless person. Today, the house of a deported Seine Saint
Denis is the street and violence is the daily harassment, it is the slow death ... Many
of us are concerned: - Tenants HLM in trouble because of rising rents, charges, energy,
lower income and housing allowance: EXPELLED - Mal housed in overcrowded slums housed by
profiteers and slumlords: EXPELLED! - No home, forced to occupy vacant homes or premises
not to stay on the sidewalk: EXPELLED - Homeless accommodated in hotels or emergency
shelters: EXPELLED! - Kids hostels for young workers that close to make room for
speculators: EXPELLED! - Residents of homes welcoming migrants near: EXPELLED! -
Inhabitants of slums that were once relocated, times have changed: EXPELLED In 93, the
popular classes face the crisis of housing, slum landlords, real estate speculation,
expensive housing, energy cuts ...
This massive expulsion policy, implemented by the Prefect, hunting the working class to
the periphery, which are replaced by residents easier. Speculation and planning policies
do the rest. This is social cleansing! But nothing is lost, there are forces in Seine
Saint Denis, the struggles of the housing are numerous tenants, poorly housed, homeless,
Citizens for, activists, unite us for the stop evictions and relocation of those who were
put on the street! Let's get out of our homes, our neighborhoods, walk in Paris, to
challenge the Government and stop this social violence.
