Repression of Gaucha Anarchist Federation
The headquarters of the Libertarian Athenaeum Gaucha Anarchist Federation was invaded by
the Civil Police on 20 June, which seized materials such as paints and anarchist books.
This invasion was part of a coordinated defamation and criminalization of anarchism and
social struggle in Porto Alegre and the rest of the country action.

Defamation anarchism
In the context of protests who took to the streets, some sectors of the left echoed with
employers and governments to try to demoralize and criminalize anarchism, which was
present to the people in the struggle with the libertarian socialist proposals.
