Britain, he Manchester and Salford Anarchist Bookfair 2013

Saturday 23rd November, People's History Museum 10am-4pm ---- Plus: Social from 7:30pm The
Crescent pub starring Class Actions and more ---- The Manchester and Salford Anarchist
Bookfair is back for 2013 with a top line up of stalls and talks, followed by a social at
The Crescent pub, with Class Actions, Andy T, Autonomads, Black Light Mutants and Makings
of a Maniac. ---- The ever intriguing Manchester and Salford Anarchist Bookfair returns to
the People's History Museum tomorrow (10am-4pm) with another wild line up of stalls and
talks to stimulate. ---- There's stalls from all the top anarchist outlets, including AK
Press and the Anarchist Federation, and Anarchist Raccoon, which is exactly what you would
expect it to be?bookmarks, stickers, postcards and other small items featuring original
art and involving raccoons, which "provide an excellent non-human role model for living
cooperatively while maintaining strong individual character". The raccoon items will be
bartered with visitors or gifted. Great idea!

Meanwhile, the England's Forgotten Revolution stall will be pushing a booklet
"about the revolution in the 1640 and 50, Levellers, Diggers, Ranters but much much more,
including the mutinies in the army, the first trade unions and the revolutionary uprising
in London".

The International Brigade Memorial Trust will be selling literature and merchandise
relating to those who went to defend the Spanish Republic from 1936 to 1939; while the
Past Pixels stall will be selling a range of their brilliant greetings cards, postcards
and posters using images from the history of the labour movement. There's a great poster
of the Miners Strike that Past Pixels do, if it's there?

Other stalls include the ace Corporate Watch, Hunt Sabs, Bolton Diggers, Pumpkin Records
and Red Pepper. There's the Tea Jamboree stall where you can be involved in a `playful tea
experience?concoct a cuppa to suit your mood?and unleash your creativity'. And the Under
The Pavement Radio Show will provide the soundtrack.

As well as the stalls, there's talks going off all day covering everything from the
Beautiful Planet anarchist caf?, to the Zapatistas, to workplace struggles and `radical
approaches to psychiatry and mental health in an age of austerity'. Too good to miss?

What is guaranteed is a day that will never be dull, full of new experiences and ideas.
It's going to be rad?

?And later on there's a social at The Crescent pub vault starring Salford Star faves Class
Actions (with Andy Carrington) poet Andy T, Autonomads, Black Light Mutants and Makings of
a Maniac.
