Requirements:
- A National Diploma / Degree in Organisation and Work Study / Management Services / Operational Management/ Production Management and any degree / National Diploma with a ten weeks Management Services certificate
- Basic experience in job description development, Work Study Techniques and Job Evaluation Procedures, system and methods
- Sound and in-depth knowledge of relevant prescripts and applications of work study techniques and job evaluation system as well as understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service
- Good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
- Computer literacy
- A valid driver’s licence.
Duties:
- Conduct job analysis and job evaluation of posts in accordance to the Public Service Regulations and identify posts in accordance to approved Occupation Specific Dispensation (OSD) Resolutions
- Undertake organisation, post establishment investigations and advise management in this regard
- Coordinate the development of job descriptions
- Provide management advisory service to the management of the department regarding departmental filing system, office layout and form design and control
- Maintain databases for job evaluation, job descriptions, and work study investigations
- Assist in the conducting business process redesign investigation.
