Requirements:
- A Senior Certificate or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
- One (1) year experience in general office administration
- Knowledge of the LOGIS system, and of study assistance within the Public Service.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting
- Knowledge and application of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Public Service Regulations and basic law of contracts
- Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
- Computer literacy
- A valid driver’s licence.
Duties:
- Administer study assistance programme
- Assist with the administration of skills development programmes, scholarships and fellowships
- Provide logistical support services
- Manage the study assistance programme database
- Assist with coordination of the career guidance and counselling
- Assist with the administration of skills development programmes
- General administration including travel claims, travel and accommodation arrangements and capturing of requests on LOGIS
- Ensure availability of stationery.
