Requirements:
Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate or a National diploma/degree with knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999) (PFMA). Extensive experience in budget and general administration procedures. Good planning and interpersonal relations. Computer skills in MS Office software. A valid driver’s licence.
Duties:
The incumbent will be responsible for the budget, compiling a zero-based budget, the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Estimates of National Expenditure (ENE). Compile monthly state of expenditure and cash flow statements. Procurement of goods and services. Drafting of submissions, faxes, letters and memos. Taking minutes during Chief Directorate and other meetings as requested by the Chief Director. Responsible for S&T claims, cell phone and kilometre claims. Responsible for drafting of parliamentary questions and check those from other directorates for compliance. Collate inputs for reports as requested by the Chief Director. He/She will be appointed as sub Asset Controller and therefore be responsible for Assets of the office.
