Six Months Contract
Salary: R115 212 plus 37% per annum in lieu of benefits, Salary Level 5

Requirements:
A three year National Diploma in Internal Audit or equivalent qualification (NQF level 6) with one year experience in internal auditing. Knowledge of standards for professional practice of internal auditing; Institute of Internal Auditors’ code of ethics; phases of internal audit process; provisions of the Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations as well as all other compliance requirements applicable to the Department.

Duties:
The successful candidates will conduct both risk-based and performance audits in the Department; conduct audit fieldwork and collect relevant, sufficient and useful audit evidence; assess and evaluate audit evidence; maintain minimum information security standards.
