Requirements:
Applicants must be in possession of an appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma. Relevant experience in the field of strategic and operational planning as well as project and programme management .Working knowledge of Government’s planning cycle, National outcomes, the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999) (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations. Facilitation, problem solving and report writing skills. Communication (verbal and written) skills. Computer literacy MS Office software.
Duties:
The incumbent will be responsible to render administration and facilitation service to internal and external stakeholders on strategic planning matters which entails the coordination of administration functions of the Unit with regard to strategic and operational planning. Advise and liaise with Directorates on strategic and operational planning principles and activities. Coordinate strategic and operational planning session within in the Directorates. Collate, verify and consolidate strategic and operational planning inputs from programmes. Maintain strategic and operational planning database and documents. Review and update guidelines for strategic and operational planning.
