Requirements:
An appropriate Bachelor’s degree coupled with extensive relevant senior management experience, PLUS the following key competencies:

Duties:
- Manage the provision of an independent, systematic examination and evaluation of the Departmental internal control framework
- Manage performance audits and special Assignments
- Oversee the compilation of audit reports and ensure implementation of recommendations contained in reports
- Attend to Director-General and Ministerial adhoc requests
- Liaise with all relevant institutions, individuals etc. and ensure all queries are settled on time
- Provide direction regarding the execution of audits and ad-hoc assignments
- Oversee the development of an internal Audit coverage plan and work measurement schedules as well as report on the progress
- Manage the Chief Directorate
