Requirements:
A recognized 3 year Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or an appropriate equivalent qualification. Extensive experience in Human Resource Management with specific reference to performance management. Knowledge of Departmental procedures and prescripts within the Public Service. Knowledge of Human Resource processes and practices. Supervisory experience, Good communication skills (presentation and report writing); skills in policy development and implementation; ability to work under pressure; customer oriented and computer literacy. Knowledge of PERSAL system.

Duties:
Support line managers in the management of individual performances. Facilitate the submission of Performance Agreements and Work plans. Facilitate the administration of probations for both SMS and lower levels. Facilitate the implementation of the balanced score card for both SMS and lower levels. Conduct training and empower line managers and employees on the facilitation of performance evaluations. Manage the auditing of submitted documents. Facilitate the effective implementation of pay progression and merit awards for all levels.
