Hop.Skip, Pop and Jump

When President Obama approaches the podium to speak, he has a hop, a skip a pop and a jump in his step. It is an odd movement and I always wonder about it.

But more than that I wonder about the game shifting that seems to be epidemic. The rules are blurred today and threaten to become more so as we move along in time. We are not moving forward, we are not moving back, we are moving along in time. We are spinning.

No child left behind, not a great program , not even a realistic program is now being changed to exempt 10 states. This is a game changing rule change. It is simply a wrong approach.

Mortgage principal reduction , give banks billions in bailouts, then back charge them in a settlement which is funded by bailout and then require them to use the settlement money to reduce principal of defaulted homeowners who for the most part stripped any equity out of the property by not making any payment for the last 3 years. This is utterly and completely devoid of any measure of common sense and in my estimation marks a radical departure from accepted practice in this country.

As we circle the drain, expect the rules to change in many other ways. So hop, skip, jump and pop so you can keep up.
