We haven't been out to eat lately, so I'd like to take you to one of my favorite places. Little Savannah right here in my Forest Park neighborhood never disappoints. Owners Cliff and Maureen Holt just celebrated 5 successful years, and they have made their cozy restaurant one of Birmingham's most respected eateries. They've added a deck out back which has been known to feature live music when the weather warms up. Their menu changes frequently depending on what fresh homegrown ingredients are in season. What to order? Well it's ALL wonderful, but I enjoyed the shrimp and polenta when I went for brunch recently. Oh, and the Provençal Violette Sparkler is an absolute must!
