White Dog's agility makeup class turned into the beginning of a day of birthday partying. It was incredibly windy so White Dog, Daisy, and Poppy got to practice agility tricks inside Jesse's house. All of the dogs loved the fact that the house is laid out around the kitchen core. So they would jump the hurdle, then circle the kitchen, then tunnel, then circle past the kids in the TV room (who were freely dispensing treats), and round they went. They also enjoyed that Jesse allowed the dogs on furniture so that White Dog, Daisy, Poppy and visiting KiKi could be right up at plate level during lunch. Everyone left class stuffed and happy. White Dog, Steve and I rushed home to straighten up because Richard came over with a "grazing dinner" to celebrate. White Dog really liked the smoked salmon with garlic cucumber sauce although it was hard to choose a favorite from among the cheeses, fresh basil pizza, vegetables, and more. It was a relaxing time of eating, listening to music, talking (and petting). Richard's gift of original art (he does painted-on photographs) was very special.
