White Dog woke the household at 3:30 this morning to alert us that Rob's car was in danger. Seconds later, his car alarm started wailing. Steve pulled on his robe, rushed to the front porch and discovered that someone had smashed the car's side window and grabbed a few items laying on the seat. White Dog's insistent barking, even the police agreed, probably drove the thief off and saved Rob perhaps more damage/loss (to his dashboard or the interior). No one got much sleep after that. Rob and Steve were too keyed-up and White Dog remained on Red Alert guarding us.
