Video: Speedflying on a Mountain Bike

We've seen speedflying in multiple videos before, but usually it involves a skier floating down the mountain with a parasail attached to his or her back. In the case of this video, it appears that professional mountain biker Kilian Bron is taking the sport to the next level by speedflying on a mountain bike instead. He catches a lift from good friend Eliot Nochez, who helps him drift down the mountain, before eventually dropping him off on solid ground. In the process, it looks like a new adventure sport is born.

Video: Speedflying at Night in Chamonix

Speedflying (aka Speed Riding) is the combination of skiing and paragliding down a mountain. The combination of the two activities opens up opportunities for skiers to soar over sections of a mountain that would normally be impossible to shred, while safely dropping off big cliffs along the way. In the case of this video, the skier is Valentin Delluc, who decides to add 20 meters of LED lights to his parasail and make a night descent of the Bossons Glacier above Chamonix in France. As you would expect, the video is quite spectacular. Check it out below.

Video: The Unrideables - Alaska Range (Trailer)

If the ski video I posted earlier today wasn't scary enough for you, check out the video below. It is a trailer for an upcoming backcountry ski and snowboard film called The Unrideables, which takes a look at the sport of speedflying. In the case, the skiers in the film traveled to Alaska to take on some insane peaks, skiing and paragliding back down the mountain as they go. The footage that they captured is nothing short of spectacular, and will provide an adrenaline rush to get you through the day. I've seen some speedflying videos in the past, but nothing compares to what is shown here.
