Congratulations to GunBlog Blacklist Editor Jay G. for joining the ranks of NRA and becoming a editor at Shooting Illustrated.

Sadly, with this new position, he's leaving the gunblogging world for the gun writing world, and won't be able to be a part of this site anymore.

But we've created the post of GBBL Editor Emeritus especially for him, and it comes with a generous stipend* and the honor of having his jersey retired and hung in the rafters of the GBBL**.

Good luck on the new job, Jay.

* Stipend paid in Zimbabwe dollars.
** You'd think he'd a washed the jersey before he gave it to us to hang up. Now the roof is gonna smell like that for WEEKS.

Under New Management...

North has graciously turned over management of GBBL to myself (OldNFO), JayG and two other yet to be named individuals.

To restate the rules-

1. Not going to do ads to try to make any money.
2. Not going to posts about any of us or repeat stuff that is already out there.
3. WILL post about folks in the community that need help.
4. Goal is to help the gunblogger community as a whole, by providing links to gun blogs.
5 For now, send new links to either myself or JayG and we'll get them up when we can.

And thank you to North for what he started and maintained for almost 2 years...
