La collection "Truelles & Pixels"
La MSH Maison de l’Orient et de la Méditerranée a conçu et lancé en 2005-2006, dans le cadre de son chantier "Outils multimédias" et avec le soutien du CNRS, le site www.truelles-pixels.mom.fr. Ces documentaires multimédias interactifs d’initiation aux métiers, aux techniques et à l’approche scientifique de l’archéologie (animations et jeux) répondent à la demande de libre accès à la culture scientifique.
Chaque module, découpé en chapitres thématiques, est fortement scénarisé et largement illustré par des illustrations (reconstitution, scènes de vie…), dessins animés, photographiess (archives de fouilles, photographies inédites…), vidéos, vidéo interactives (faire tourner un objet, zoomer, chercher des indices dans une vidéo…).
Les modules offrent en outre plusieurs types de ressources complémentaires :
- des jeux et des ateliers pratiques présentés sous la forme de fiches à télécharger et imprimer
- un lexique (info-bulles) et une encyclopédie thématique commune aux différents modules
- une présentation des travaux des missions ou équipes travaillant sur le sujet
- une base de données bibliographique d’ouvrages grand public et jeunesse, comprenant également les publications des missions impliquées, et une base de liens vers d’autres sites Internet, commentés et classés.

The "Islamic State in Iraq & Sham" (ISIS) group announced the re-establishment of the Khilafah in some areas of Iraq & Syria on Sunday June 29th the first day of Ramadan. The group appointed Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi (the leader of ISIS) as the Khalifah and changed its name from ISIS to "Islamic State" (IS). Later IS requested the Muslims to give bayah to Al-Baghdadi.
In light of these developments Hizb ut Tahrir -- America organized a lecture followed by iftar on Friday July 11th to discuss this announcement, its legitimacy and what constitutes an Islamic State (Khilafah).
