Video: Pro Surfer Skis Giant Waves in Hawaii
Yes, you read that headline right. This video takes us out to Hawaii where we find pro surfer Chuck Patterson taking on the notoriously large waves at Pe'ahi aka "Jaws." Rather than riding his surfboard, he instead chooses to ski Jaws instead, complete with boots, poles, and the works. Surprisingly, this goes fairly well, although I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone. Wild stuff for sure.
Video: The Maui Boys Take the Onewheel for a Spin
The Onewheel is one of the coolest gadgets I've seen in awhile. It is a high-tech, self-balancing, single-wheeled skateboard of sorts that is controlled by leaning forward and backward, or side to side. Fast and fun, the Onewheel is a joy to ride. In this video, you'll get to see a group of pro-surfers – Dege O'Connell, Albee Layer, Tanner Hendrickson, Kai Barger and Hank Gaskell – put the Onewheel through its paces. The clip is less than a minute in length, but it gives you an idea of what the device is like. It isn't too late to get Santa to put one under your tree this year.

Video: Dreamlapse HDR
Yet another beautiful timelapse to wrap things up for the day. This one features plenty of sunsets and night shots to keep you mesmerized. It is 11+ minutes in length but truly spectacular. I hope you enjoy.

Video: Timelapse Clouds In Paradise
It has been a busy week here on the Adventure Blog and I can't think of a better way to wrap it up than with a relaxing and beautiful video like the one below. It was shot in Hawaii recently and it captures the serenity of that place quite spectacularly. We can't all escape to the islands for a long weekend, but that doesn't mean we can't bring a little slice of the islands home. Enjoy.

Video: House Of The Sun - Timelapse Over Maui
I've posted some spectacular timelapse videos on occasion here, but few can rival this one. It was shot on Haleakala, a gigantic dormant volcano in Hawaii and what make it so spectacular is the dramatic shifts in light as the thick clouds and fog give way to a beautiful sunrise. It really is a sight to behold and should make for a perfect ending to the week. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and a tip of the cap to filmmaker Dan Douglas for sharing with all of us.
In case I haven't said it recently, our world is an amazing place.
