This weekend is fairly light for Washington’s nine NCAA Division I and II schools, with all of the West side schools not competing.

EUGENE—While the meet had a bizarre ending with a number of protests holding up the national championship trophy presentation to the Oregon Ducks on a wet Saturday afternoon, one of the key cogs to Oregon’s victory in front of the home crowd at Historic Hayward Field was the third place performance by Olympia native Brooke Feldmeier, who ran a personal best of 2:01.54 in the 800 meters.

NEW ORLEANS—The USTFCCCA Tuesday announced its final regular team rankings for the 2017 outdoor track and field season, as teams prepare to compete in next week’s NCAA outdoor championships in Eugene.



On the women’s side, the top five teams are Oregon, Arkansas, LSU, USC, and Kentucky.



Arizona State at #20 is the only other Pac-12 squad ranked in the national top 25, at number 18.
