Article;  Feb 2002 ;

key findings :
the author made experiments that produced new data on how chemical pollutants (detergents) inhibit filtration activity of filter-feeders (bivalves). The author showed how these new data help better understand eutrophication, algal and cyanobacterial blooms, and water quality formation.

Tolerance of an aquatic macrophyte Potamogeton crispus L. to sodium dodecyl sulphate. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/247887711 ;

Article;
Dec 2007 ;

key findings :
The authors measured effects of various concentrations of the surfactant ( sodium dodecyl sulfate  ) on survival of the aquatic plant (  Potamogeton crispus L. ). The toxic and non-toxic concetrations were found. The authors  proposed a new approach to theoretical analysis of the issues of toxicity of chemical pollutants to aquatic plants.

Your citations

Studying effects of some surfactants and detergents on filter-feeding bivalves. Hydrobiologia. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/226127394

Article;
May 2003;
Hydrobiologia;
key findings:
The author discovered new important toxic effects of synthetic surfactants and detergents of marine and freshwater molluscs. The toxic effects were inhibition of water filtration activity of the molluscs under effect of these chemical pollutants of water.

On Some Issues of Maintaining Water Quality and Self-Purification; https://www.researchgate.net/publication/215586879;

Article;

May 2005;

 key findings:
The author made new experiments with aquatic organisms (freshwater, and marine organisms) and chemical pollutants of water. These experiments added new evidence in support of his previous publications where he published his ecosystem-oriented theory of multifunctional role of organisms in improving water quality (water self-purification). The paper summarizes the main part of the new evidence in support of this theory which is useful to better evaluate the state of aquatic ecosystems and improve water quality.

Anniversary: 30 years of biochemical ecology. Anniversary of the new scientific discipline. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/304607243

Data; Jun 2016;

key findings:
During last 30 years, the scientific research in laboratories worldwide provided new support to the ecological theory that was created in the book 'Introduction to Biochemical Ecology' (Moscow University Press, 1986). This book was the first book with the name of the new ecological science, namely, biochemical ecology. The theory that was created by the book explained the main ecological functions of natural chemicals (lots of them were originally considered secondary matabolites) produced by organisms.  The book coined  new terms including 'ecological chemomediators' and 'ecological chemoregulators'.
