(Series: Science. Education. Innovation. Issue 11). The book contains the materials for the biobibliography of Dr. Sergei A. Ostroumov, including the bibliography of his scientific works: books, papers, collective monographs,educational materials, and some others. The book is based on the previous edition of the bibliography that was published in 2008. In the current edition, some recent publications(2008-2010) were added. The book includes the bibliography of his publications onaquatic, biochemical and general ecology, general biology, biochemistry, and environmental sciences. Some of the references are commented or accompanied by shortabstracts, which give some information about the contents of the publications. Asignificant part of the publications were about water self-purification and the role of aquatic organisms (invertebrates, plants) in water self-purification and remediation of aquatic systems. Some publications were on phytoremediation, and coupling of ecologicaland biogeochemical processes. Both experimental papers and reviews are represented.Some of the publications formulated the elements of the innovative theory of theecological mechanism (biomachinery, as the author put it) of water self-purification. The book is of interest to scholars, educators and students in the fields of ecology, limnology,oceanography, life sciences, environmental and biospheric sciences.

Включена библиография работ по вопросам общей, биохимической и водной экологии, экологии животных и растений, общей биологии, биохимии и наук об окружающей среде. Некоторые из ссылок снабжены краткими аннотациями, что раскрывает содержание соответствующих работ и имеющиеся в них элементы новизны.Значительная часть работ последних лет посвящена проблемам самоочищения воды и роли гидробионтов в самоочищении воды. Представлены как работы, излагающие данные экспериментов по изучению гидробионтов, так и обобщающие работы, ведущие к формулировке теории экологического механизма самоочищения воды.
