More than 30 years ago, a new scientific discipline was created, namely, biochemical ecology.
In 1986, Moscow University Press published the book "Introduction to Biochemical Ecology" (Введение в биохимическую экологию), S.A.Ostroumov, 176 pages. DOI: 10.13140 / RG.2.1.3445.9688;
New useful concepts and terminology were proposed in the book.

MODERNIZATION OF UNIVERSITY EDUCATION. The book served as a basis for creation new lecture courses with the same name in a number of universities in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland.
