Next week, bloggers Flaming Nora and Sunny Jim are off to that London to the fancy bash in a posh hotel for the finals of the UK Blog Awards 2018 where Coronation Street Blog is a finalist in the Arts and Culture category.
We're up against stiff competition because we had to enter as a business blog, even though we're anything but. As there are more than six members on our team, they classify us as a business, although our blog is a labour of love.
So you can see why it's not false modesty when I saw I don't expect us to win.
To have been shortlisted and then through to the finals is winning itself because we wouldn't have got this far had it not been for YOUR votes. I can't thank you enough.
The awards ceremony takes place on Friday April 20th and we'll be sure to bring you a full report afterwards. You can follow us on Twitter and Facebook for pics and news from the event on the night.
