The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and new character Emma arrives as an apprentice working in the hair salon.
David is irritated to discover that Maria has taken on an apprentice. And when Alya calls into the salon to say she has a date with Josh, Emma is the only one who clocks David’s distress.
Later, David is furious to discover Emma and the other girls giggling about a picture of him on Josh’s social media.
Emma will be played by actor Alexandra Mardell who has appeared on TV in Vera.
