The author, Sergei Ostroumov formulated a new, 4^th Principle of Biogeochemistry in addition to the three Principles of Biogeochemistry that were formulated by V.I.Vernadsky. The new, 4^th principle wad accepted by the scientific community. E.g., the 4^th principle was cited in the book by Rozenberg, Krasnoshchekov, 2016:
