Pointers for Africa? Ashoka University: Ivy League, Indian-style

Every country and or region needs to evolve its own problem-solving productive institutions. The FT reports on an effort in India - Ashoka University:
Entrepreneurs set up an institution to promote original thinking they feel the country lacks...“Indian institutions are where they were in the 1980s,” he says. “The students are outstanding, but the institutions very often haven’t progressed. These institutions of excellence are going into academic decline. Something is broken.”
