Millions of girls under age 18 are married each year. Hundreds of millions have been subjected to female genital mutilation. One-third of all women worldwide have experienced physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. But there is a resistance, and people around the world are taking to social media to show their support. We've highlighted some of our favorite messages here. |
