PREDGOVOR

Brz ekonomski razvoj čovečanstva u industrijsko doba i preterano iscrpljivanje prirodnih resursa, a posebno fosilnih energenata doveli su do globalnih klimatskih promena i ometanja normalnog funkcionisanja ekosistema i ugrožavanja ljudskog zdravlja.
  • glavni ciljevi razvoja zelene ekonomije,
  • finansijski resursi za realizaciju projekata zelene ekonomije i zaštite životne sredine,
  • razvoj održive energetike i primene obnovljivih izvora energije,
  • menadžment vodnih resursa i zaštita kvaliteta voda,
  • zaštita zemljišnih resursa,
  • razvoj i primena inovativnih biogeohimijskih tehnologija u različitim sektorima industrije,
  • primena biogeohemijskih metoda u proceni projekata zelene ekonomije u cilju zaštite ljudskog zdravlja,
  • razvoj informacionih i komunikacionih tehnologija u oblasti integrisanja sistema nauke,
  • bezbednost i modeli procene rizika u industriji,
  • značaj integrisanog menadžmenta otpada u zaštiti životne sredine i ljudskog zdravlja,
  • uloga ekoloških oblika turizma u zelenoj ekonomiji,
  • značaj digitalnog marketinga u promociji održivih i organskih proizvoda.

FOREWORD

The rapid economic development of mankind in the industrial era and the excessive depletion of natural resources have led to global climate change, disruption of the normal functioning of ecosystems and the threat to public health. If humankind does not take urgent and adequate measures to combat climate change, we can witness huge and irreversible environmental, economic, financial and social consequences, such as water scarcity, loss of biodiversity and cultivated land, food shortages and mass migrations, natural and technogenic catastrophes, industrial and financial collapse and much more, which will seriously affect the economic growth and the existence of all mankind. To end the economic crisis, the transition to sustainable development and a green economy has no alternative for all countries, and for all humanity.
The UN and the world community (within the framework of the activism of non-governmental organizations) play a leading role in the implementation of vigorous measures to protect the planet, as a result of which the transition to sustainable development and green growth in the economy has become the dominant paradigm for all mankind since the late 20th century, and especially 21st century.
The monograph "Challenges of Green Economy" is devoted to considering the most important postulates and concrete proposals on the path of achieving transition towards the green growth and the green economy. In the chapters of the monograph, complex multidisciplinary topics were touched:
  • the main goals of the development of the green economy,
  • financial resources for the implementation of green economy projects and environmental protection,
  • development of sustainable energy and the application of renewable energy sources,
  • management of water resources and water quality protection,
  • protection of land resources,
  • development and application of innovative biogeochemical technologies in various sectors of industry,
  • the application of biogeochemical methods in assessing green economy projects in order to protect human health,
  • development of information and communication technologies in the field of integration of the system of science,
  • security and risk assessment models in industry,
  • the importance of integrated waste management in the protection of environment and human health,
  • the role of ecological forms of tourism in the green economy,
  • the importance of digital marketing in the promotion of sustainable and organic products.
The significance of the book "Challenges of Green Economy" is reflected in the fact that the monograph presents the works of 37 scientists, university professors and academics from different countries of the world: Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, Serbia and others.
