In this post one can read the seventh part of a series of thematic articles on the
diachrony of fascism in the territory of the Greek state. The original article entitled
"Let's talk about modern fascism" and subtitled "updating our analysis and organizing the
war against its roots and not just against the declared fascists," was published on the
site of the anarchist collective of Volos Manifesto. All parts can be read here. ----
Nationalism - leftist "patriotism" has many legs ... ---- "But we do not want to defeat
fascism to replace it with something worse. Worse than fascism is the consolidation of the
state. Fascists beat, burn, murder, violate all the rules of freedom, crush the most
offensive of workers' dignity. But frankly, all the evil that fascism has done over the
last two years (and will continue to do so long as the workers tolerate it) can be
compared to the evil that the state has done, silently and regularly for very many years,
and will continue to do so. is there? "

Errico Malatesta, March 14, 1922 , "Fascism and Legality," Umanita Nova

Left-wing and "patriot" parties and organizations (LAE, EPAM, PLEUSI, etc.) oppose this
predominant "national" narrative by proposing another statist and interclassist
"national-patriot" objective with its constant propaganda against memorandums and his
populism, have so far failed to persuade a significant part of the population about the
real character of his narrative. That is, if under conditions of financial globalization,
without the State being able to borrow abroad and with the possibility of producing and
manufacturing internal energy and industrial resources (within borders) deficient for
modern individual and social needs, it is possible to return to "Radical liberalism" of an
inflationary "national" currency or a state-capitalist model of the former Soviet Union
type. They are propagating a model that,

It is not at all curious that this second national-patriotic and minority narrative has
many points in common with the relative "economic program" of the fascist Golden Dawn, or
at least until the assassination of Fyssas and the beginning of the institutional and
legal "drive" for the fascist organization, whose goal was to transform it into a
"serious" political component of the so-called "institutional arc." Taking into account
these two "national" narratives of the Left, the predominant and the minority, it is not
surprising that the relatively massive class struggles of 2010 to 2012 are already
noticeably weaker.

"There must not be a single human being to whom knowledge - not semi / superficial
knowledge, but the true know - is denied by lack of time or means." ---- Letter from Piotr
Kropotkin to Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia ----  Because we are increasingly the members of
the educational community that denounce the mercantilist and authoritarian derivatives of
Public Education, which by definition must be universal, secular, democratic, free and of
quality. ----  Because we want a education of all and for all, tolerant, inclusive and
with resources that are not built on Decrees of Autonomy of Centers (102/2010) or Decrees
of templates (6591 27.3. 2014). ----  Because we want to awaken critical awareness, not to
teach superficial contents; A rational and practical knowledge within the reach of the
people and not only of companies and of the privileged.

Because teachers want to be able to express themselves freely in the classrooms, in the
cloisters, in the centers. Without the fear of depending on the arbitrariness of the
directions.

Because we want to decide which model of education we want for our children and our
students, without cuts or cabinets, with replacements from the first day.

Because we want another model of trade unionism, an alternative to trade unionism, pact
and delegation, transparent and free.

For all this, we invite you to participate in the presentation of the Teaching Section of
the CGT of Girona, on Saturday, February 17, from 10:30 to 14:00, at the Ateneu Popular
Salvadora Catà de Girona ( Plaça Josep Pla, no2) .

DIVERSES PICTURES WILL BE PLACED ON LONG TODAY:

Llorente, Xavier: Political ecology in the 21st century.
Xavier Llorente will explain how ecologism has evolved from practically apolitical
conservationism to alternative approaches to social and economic models, going through
simply reformist positions.
Political ecology and social ecology are based on analyzes and come to offer
transformative alternatives that can not be underestimated by political, social and trade
union actors.

Cárdaba, Marciano: 1936: The political class before / against the Revolution.
In Marciano we will talk about the July 36 Revolution as a denial of legality. The state
as a set of bodies of power and control disappears and new agencies are emerging:
Committee of militias, Commission of scope, Council of economics, expropriations, local
committees, popular courts, collectivizations, distribution of wealth and work.

Rodríguez, Ángel: Poems of the licàngel.
The poetic experience is the result of the perplexity and the game of imagination, feeling
and reflection. Poetry should not only convey an emotion or an image, but it must also
include thinking and moving into action. Ángel Rodríguez's poetry, while still being
lyrical, is open to social problems.

Molina, Rosalía: What education do we want?
In those moments where education is at the point of view of everyone, it is when we have
to be more firm in defending the education we want: We want public education, quality,
secular, co-educational, democratic, that favors the spirit critical We defend dialogue
and freedom of expression in all educational fields. How can we fight to achieve it?

Local elections are approaching, and committees are being formed. Apparently, but still
life can surprise us to a greater or lesser extent. Well, the committee, whose faces are
the wife of the incumbent president and one of the vice presidents, without any
embarrassment, we will present ourselves in the campaign as "social workers " - under the
logo of "Right to the City" (PdM) . ---- This situation proves the total loss of political
independence of the environment, which in fact for several years was an important, though
more and more divided, voice of the social side. Today, it is an annex of the Liberals
from the PO, which allows them to maintain influence in the city. Therefore, PdM must be
treated in this campaign as a ruling group that fully shares responsibility for what has
happened in the city over the past four years. And these were not only - as it may seem to
some people - positive things.

Nationwide issues and disputes between the PiS and the party opposition, for the majority
of the expiring tenure of self-government, reformed the discussion on political issues,
also in relation to local matters. In this dispute, Jaskowiak took an unequivocal position
on the part of the PO. The falling support of the Platform, however, complicates the
situation of the elites ruling the city for many years. Under these circumstances, the
facade PdM can be used to sustain support for neo-liberals.

Those groups that try to go beyond the simple division "PiS Vs. PO / Modern, "they will
not look passively at how the incumbent president, together with his political
environment, plays with the inhabitants. On the one hand, presenting itself as a loyal
ally of power structures based on the PO, and on the other as a spokesman for the social
side, which these structures have been merging for years.

At the same time, at the local level from behind the "PiS vs. PO / Modern "reveals a
number of problems that the Jaskowiak team (from PdM inclusive) did not settle. For
example, the Jaskowiak family declares their support for the women's cause. This did not
prevent Jaskowiak to ignore last year's postulates of trade unions (OPZZ, PNA, Solidarity
and Employee Initiatives) regarding increases for more than 9,000 employees of plants and
institutions subject to the city. It is a feminised group, in many cases with low and very
low earnings. From behind the term of Jaskowiak, the unions demanded PLN 700 gross in the
salary increase. Despite declarations and promises, they eventually got only PLN 400 gross
on average. And not out of good will, but under constant pressure of protests. These 400
zlotys were therefore more "ripped out" of the new power from the throat than "granted".
This does not prevent Jaskowiak to claim that this is more than during Grobelny's time.
His attitude, unfortunately, does not differ from his predecessor - he gives only as much
as he must. In the electoral campaign, women will probably hear how lucky they are that
they have the right to vote, although they would probably call them to feel that the right
to vote is still being improved by their social and material situation.

In the end, Jaskowiak's policy towards the category of "women" includes only those that
are successful on the free market or in politics. Self-government employees earning a
pittance are still excluded from the "more" policy of Poznan. Their role in the city is
still reduced to the level of cheap labor. In and out of the office.

Another problem concerns housing policy. Although much was done in this matter, the first
years of his term were wasted by Jaskowiak. The rebate right after Tomasz Lewandowski's
election (with the active participation of PdM) and the appointment of Agnieszka
Pachciarz, as deputy to Jaskowiak responsible for housing policy, effectively delayed the
necessary changes by 1.5-2 years. The perfumer declared outright the policy of
continuation. For example, she was in favor of the existence of a container housing estate
and against the appointment of a tenancy intervention office. In addition, the role played
by the removal of Lewandowski PdM with Wudarski at the head (which turned out that he has
shares in the building and evicts people), will leave a long-lasting disgust. It was then
that PdM turned closer to the PO than it was possible to suppose.

It was only Agnieszka Pachciarz's disloyalty, and the tendency to plot with the
contemporary head of the ZKZL, Wojciech Augustyniak, that made the offended Jaskowiak cry
and get rid of both. Eventually he reached for Lewandowski. If, however, on the day of the
upcoming elections, the opposition accuses Jaskowiak and the team of not doing enough in
housing matters, they will be right. In any case, more could have been done had Jaskowiak
and Wudarski not set up the second round of elections in 2014. Finally, in the first year
of Jasiek's term of office, no municipal housing was built and the same number of families
were evicted from the housing stock , every year - during the Grobelny period. The changes
came only with Lewandowski.

Finally, Wudarski's policy is judged badly. At least not until recently, many activists
and activists criticized his actions in the field of spatial policy and ecology,
expressing the opinion that "he has gone to the dark side of power." Another thing is that
in the election year these same "social activists" are pushing into the same group as
Wudarski, without seeing any contradiction. Perhaps, however, it was a mirage to sit on
the city council, tempt the opponents and silence pre-election criticism.

These are just some of the issues. One could continue, mentioning a number of other
problems that were not solved or even accumulated in Jaskowiak's time. For example, the
level of social participation in decision-making processes seems in some respects lower
than in Grobelny's time. It was decided to keep the quiz titled civic budget (previously
criticized by the community), without taking any step forward - towards more direct
methods of city management.

Brighton Solidarity Federation has started a dispute with Town and City Residential
Lettings, operating out of English Business Park, near Hove Cemetery. A tenant has been
organising with SolFed after the agency failed to address severe mould and damp issues,
which the tenant lost several belongings to, and then took the cost of necessary
refurbishment and repair out of the tenant's deposit. The tenant, a single mother dealing
with anxiety, has suffered repeated harassment and bullying by the agency. This has come
to a climax with the agency demanding at first £200 from the tenant's deposit, arbitrarily
raising this figure to £780, and then making a final, ludicrous demand for £1030. ----
Along with the Tenant, Brighton Solfed wrote to the agency on the 29th of January in order
to lay out the issues and put forward options for redress. We were disappointed (but not
entirely surprised) to find the Agency responded with a series of falsehoods concerning
the tenancy and even made legal threats if we moved forward with the public campaign.

Due to the belligerent attitude of the Agency and the fact that they made no effort to
reach an amicable resolution, we have opened a public campaign. The combination of callous
neglect and bullying by agencies is by now sadly familiar, but we will show them that with
solidarity comes strength, and we won't be turned away by empty legal threats, or
bureaucratic misdirection!

Brighton SolFed is supporting the tenant in two key demands: First, a full return of the
deposit of £1,280.00, and in addition, compensation amounting to £500.00, which covers
clothes and other items lost to mould, as well as loss of income due to the severe impact
this has had on the tenant's mental health.

While the agency's initial response to the tenant's reasonable demands has been
disappointing, we know that with collective strength and direct action even the most
stubborn letting agent or landlord can be convinced to negotiate. When we recognise we are
all being drained by their deposit theft and neglect we can stand up and fight back!

An Injury to one is an injury to all!

Spain, march 1974. Different members of the M.I.L. (Movimiento Ibérico de Liberación) are
about to be sentenced to death by the franquist law enforcement. Five groups of activists,

Balthazar Suarez, the director of the Banco Bilbao in Paris. With this they want to attain
the liberation of their M.I.L. comrades and a hundred political prisoners. Fourty years
later, thanks to the passing of the statute of limitation, Nicolas Réglat, who grew up
without any knowledge of this adventure, lets his family and other former members of
