Dear friends,

Yanghee Lee, a U.N. investigator, was scheduled to visit Myanmar this month to assess human rights, including the ongoing military campaign against Rohingya Muslims — which the U.N. has called “a textbook example of ethnic cleansing.”

The Myanmar authorities banned Lee from entering the country. Meanwhile, ordinary people and victims of human rights abuses continue to suffer.

Please make an emergency donation today — to help Amnesty advocate for the Rohingya people. They have lost their lives. They have lost their loved ones. They have lost their homes.

Luc, your support will help:
  • Demand access for impartial investigators like Lee.
  • Send crisis investigators to gather evidence of human rights atrocities.
  • Build a groundswell of support from people around the world.
  • Keep this crisis at the forefront of the media cycle.
The Myanmar military claims they have done nothing wrong in the past months. If so, they should have nothing to hide.

The more we call attention to this cover-up, the stronger our case.

Thank you for helping turn outrage into action,

Margaret Huang
