DJANGOFOLLLIES 13/01/2018 - 31/01/2018  Django Reinhardt, guitariste de jazz d’exception, est né le 23 janvier 1910 dans une roulotte stationnée à Liberchies. Django est le ‘manouche’ qui inventa une nouvelle technique guitaristique et qui, encore aujourd’hui, continue d’inspirer quantité de musiciens. On ne peut que le fêter avec joie, style, convivialité et curiosité ! Le nom du festival ‘Djangofolllies’ résume déjà la manière de lui rendre hommage. Pour lui, la musique n’était pas un métier, mais une façon d’être, de rencontrer d’autres musiciens et d’autres cultures, bref une manière d’apporter la ‘joie de vivre’. Il n’est donc pas étonnant que les Djangofolllies proposent des genres inspirés du jazz manouche et les confrontent. We zijn reeds aan onze 24ste uitgave toe van de Djangofolllies, de 108ste verjaardag van Django Reinhardt. Zoals gewoonlijk wordt je een zeer gevarieerd programma aangeboden, met zowel jong talent als ‘oude rotten’ in het vak, met zowel ‘pure gipsy’ groepen als muzikanten die de weg van de mainstream jazz opgaan.
