Tala Council in conjunction with the Cyprus Runners Association 'Periclis Dimitriou' are organising an event in memory of the community hero, Miltiadis Stylianou.
Participants are invited to enter either a 500m, 1km or 6km event, running or walking, from Tala Square on Saturday 10 March.
The events will start at 1530. Pre-registration is from 1430.
The cost of participating will be €10 for the 6km, €5 for the 1km, and free for the 500m.
Proceeds from the event will go to SKE [Tala Welfare Centre] for needy families.
There will be refreshments for participants of the events in Tala Square afterwards.
The event is under the auspices of Archbishop Chrysostomos II.
The event is supported by the Cyprus Police, and the Ministry of Health.
There will be a coach from Nicosia via Limassol to Tala, leaving Nicosia at 12noon.
