Aware of Michelle and Robert’s money woes, Steve calls on Michelle and tells her that there’s been a mistake with their divorce settlement and he owes her £10k. Michelle’s touched by his kindness but Tracy clocks them from across the street and isn’t best pleased.
Then, Steve calls in the bistro and hands Michelle the cheque for £10k. Robert rails at her for accepting hand-outs from her ex but when Michelle forces him to accept they need the cash. Robert later apologises to Steve and thanks him for the money.
Steve assures Tracy that he no longer has feelings for Michelle
