By 2012, Hyundai and Kia had secured the top two spots in the market, with combined penetration of 45%. Add Nissan and three brands exceed 60%, which is surprising in a country that has no car industry that would attract partisan support. As neither the top two brands stir any emotion within me, their success is not something I can relate to. However, they certainly strike a chord with people
